About Kerry Prest
A life shaped
by music.
Professional singer, musical director and teacher — bringing broad performance experience to friendly, individual lessons in Leeds.
Singing & training
From church choir
to Trinity.
Kerry began singing as a young treble, became a choirmaster at 16 and went on to sing with the Cleveland Youth Choir and National Youth Choir of Great Britain.
At Trinity College of Music in London he studied tenor as his first subject and piano as his second, graduating with a BMus (Hons) in 2000. During twelve years in London, he performed as a soloist and ensemble singer with choirs and choral societies across the city. After moving to Leeds in 2013, he sang with Leeds Cathedral Choirs for BBC broadcasts.
